Ultrasound technology developer Exo has launched its latest SweepAI advancements for Exo Iris, which include new capabilities for automatically quantifying inferior vena cava collapsibility and myocardial wall thickness for measuring heart health.
These features will allow for health providers to pinpoint causes of shortness of breath and determine fluid tolerance, the company said.
Exo’s SweepAI assesses the heart’s posterior and interventricular septal wall thickness, providing insights into the impact of chronic hypertension. These tools can help give clinicians confidence when imaging these areas for optimal bedside care, according to the firm.
