NCL offers patient breast screening brochure

The National Consumers League has released a patient-oriented guide to mammography. The brochure, called "Mammograms -- A Consumer Guide to Breast Cancer Detection," offers tips on self-examination, details on the technological advancements in mammography, and the benefits of cancer screening.

The guide can be downloaded at the organization’s Web site or ordered through the mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: National Consumers League, 1701 K St. NW, Suite 1200, Washington, DC, 20006.
