Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer CADx Medical Systems of Laval, Quebec, has merged with its long-time R&D partner Qualia Computing of Beavercreek, OH. Effective September 26, the merger creates a stand-alone company, CADx Systems, with one team overseeing development, manufacturing, and customer service from Beavercreek. Steve Rogers, the founder of Qualia and developer of the firm’s CAD product, Second Look, will serve as CEO of the new company.
