Digital mammo display clearance for Barco

Diagnostic display developer Barco has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for its Coronis 5MP LCD system for analysis of digital mammography images.

The Kortrijk, Belgium company said the approval completes its line of diagnostic displays for digital mammography use. Barco has also received clearances for its MGD 521M CRT-based mammography display, and the Coronis 5MP Mammo LCD display.
