RamSoft gets mammo clearance

Canadian PACS vendor RamSoft has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for use of its PowerServer 4.0 software suite in digital mammography applications.

The software must be used with 510(k)-cleared displays, RamSoft said. The software upgrade will be available at no cost for customers who have a RamSoft software subscription, according to the Toronto-based vendor.
