Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD has released version 7.2 of its CAD software.
The new release marks primary indications of breast cancer in a consistent manner that's closely aligned with standard mammography training, according to the Nashua, NH-based company.
iCAD said the new software offers reduced false markings of vascular calcifications and lymph nodes, as well as fewer false markings due to film noise, grain, or linear structures. The new version will ship with all SecondLook 300 and SecondLook 700 systems, iCAD said.
