Eastman Kodak Health Group is showing a computer-aided detection (CAD) system as a work-in-progress for its computed radiography-based mammography platform at this week's Breast Imaging Conference (BIC) in Las Vegas.
Kodak of Rochester, NY, has offered mammography functionality as an optional feature on its DirectView CR 850, CR 950, and CR 975 systems outside the U.S. and Canada since May of 2005, and is currently pursuing regulatory approval for its use in the U.S. and Canada.
