The U.S. digital mammography market was valued at more than $313 million in 2006, up close to 110% over 2005, according to a report recently published by Millennium Research Group.
Driven by their efficient workflow and picture analyzing capabilities, digital mammography systems will produce more than $663 million in revenue by 2011, according to the Waltham, MA-based firm. In addition, other breast imaging technologies, particularly breast MRI, will experience strong growth rates through 2011, Millennium said.
