GE Healthcare and computer-aided detection (CAD) developer iCAD have signed an agreement to develop a customized version of iCAD's SecondLook Digital software for GE's Senographe and Seno Advantage systems.
The CAD system will be designed to enhance the overall clinical performance of Senographe and Seno Advantage, specifically improving sensitivity to breast cancer imaging, enhancing usability, and providing diagnostic support tools, according to iCAD of Nashua, NH, and GE of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
