Aspyra gets FDA nod for mammo capability

Healthcare IT firm Aspyra has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for digital mammography viewing capabilities on its AccessNet PACS.

AccessNet PACS now includes the display of mammography computer-aided detection (CAD) results, Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)-conformant hanging protocols, and other display capabilities for digital mammography studies, according to the Westlake Village, CA-based vendor.
