Swedish PACS and digital mammography vendor Sectra has been awarded a PACS contract from Queensland Health's BreastScreen Queensland Program in Australia.
The Linköping-based vendor values the multiyear contract at approximately 60 million Swedish kronor ($7.9 million U.S.). The breast cancer screening program in Queensland will link BreastScreen Screening and Assessment Services and a number of satellite and mobile services to a central hub in Brisbane, according to Sectra.
BreastScreen Queensland plans to screen 235,000 women this year, Sectra said.
