ACR: Mammo readers wanted

The American College of Radiology's (ACR) Image Metrix contract research organization is looking for radiologists to read mammograms at the ACR Clinical Research Center in Philadelphia for three days in May through July.

Readers will be divided between those who have read fewer than 2,000 mammograms a year for the past three years and who spend less than 50% of their time reading mammograms, and those who have read more than 2,000 mammograms a year for the past three years and who spend more than 50% of their time reading mammograms.

All readers must have American Board of Radiology certification and qualify to interpret mammograms under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Readers also should have experience interpreting digital mammograms with computer-aided detection.

Readers will be compensated and all travel-related costs will be paid. Applications are available through Pam Swinton at [email protected].
