Three Palm Software, Totoku, and U.S. Electronics have inked an agreement that calls for the integration of Totoku medical display monitors with Three Palm mammography workstation software.
The firms will collaborate to develop a package that includes Totoku's MS31i2 monitors with Three Palm's WorkstationOne software. The Totoku monitors are capable of 9-megapixel resolution using the company's independent subpixel drive (ISD) technology, which is supported by the WorkstationOne software.
WorkstationOne is a breast imaging workstation that can be installed on off-the-shelf PCs that use one or two high-resolution grayscale monitors and one color monitor. Totoku said its MS31i2 exceeds the resolution of traditional 5-megapixel monitors but is more affordable. The monitor has been cleared for mammography use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
