IDSI lands another patent for CTLM

Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IDSI) has received its 23rd U.S. patent for its CT laser mammography (CTLM) technology.

The technology covered by U.S. Letters Patent No. 8,027,711, "Laser imaging apparatus with variable patient positioning," is designed to simplify patient positioning to provide better image quality and simplified operator setup, according to the vendor. The invention was conceived by two IDSI clinical application specialists, Emily Heins and Sharon Jones.
