Three Palm wins new patent

Breast imaging software developer Three Palm Software said it has received a new patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its WorkstationOne multimodality breast imaging workstation software.

U.S. Patent No. 8,184,890 provides a method for using computer-aided detection (CAD) algorithms to help clinicians diagnose and visualize tomosynthesis mammography data, according to Three Palm.
