Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD said it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its PowerLook Advanced Mammography Platform (AMP) software with digital CAD, to be used with Philips Healthcare's MicroDose full-field digital mammography system.
PowerLook AMP allows radiologists to customize their CAD software, and its DICOM connectivity supports direct integration with Philips' IntelliSpace breast workstation, iCAD said.
The technology of PowerLook AMP expands upon iCAD's SecondLook CAD application and will be the platform for all future breast imaging CAD products from iCAD, the company said.
