Breast cancer detection technology developer First Warning Systems has named Bonnie Rush to its clinical advisory board.
Rush currently serves as president of Breast Imaging Specialists of San Diego, providing education, in-services, clinical practice management, regulatory compliance, and outreach programs to the breast imaging community.
Among her accomplishments, Rush established the first low-cost mammography screening program in San Diego and helped launch the San Diego Breast Cancer Early Detection Program.
First Warning is developing a noninvasive, wearable biofeedback device designed to help detect early metabolic cellular changes that could indicate breast cancer.
