VuCOMP adds NY installation

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer VuCOMP has installed its M-Vu CAD for mammography at Capital Imaging Associates in Cohoes, NY.

The device will analyze images from Siemens Healthcare's Mammomat Inspiration Prime Edition mammography system, according to VuCOMP.

M-Vu CAD received approval for digital mammography from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in October 2012, VuCOMP said.
