VuCOMP updates M-Vu Breast Density software

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer VuCOMP has unveiled version 2.0 of its M-Vu Breast Density software for calculating and assessing breast density on mammograms.

With version 2.0, the software's density category, which is analogous to the BI-RADS breast density composition category, is now correlated with both the amount and distribution of fibroglandular tissue, according to the firm.
