Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer iCAD has signed an agreement to provide its software to Solis Mammography over the next five years.
Under the agreement, iCAD will provide its ProFound AI for digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and ProFound AI Risk decision-support tools to facilities in the Solis network. Solis operates over 80 Solis-branded breast health centers in 11 states, and it also operates seven offices in the Washington, DC, metro area through its affiliate brand, Washington Radiology.
ProFound AI for DBT is based on deep-learning artificial intelligence and assists radiologists by analyzing each individual DBT image to identify potentially malignant lesions. ProFound AI Risk is a decision-support tool that provides an estimation of breast cancer risk over the next two years based on a screening mammogram.
