Breast Cancer Canada is launching a 1-million-Canadian-dollar ($730,695 U.S.) fellowship to expand breast cancer research funding.
One of the grant recipient researchers is Ives Levesque, PhD, of McGill University in Montréal, Québec. He will explore the validation of FxMammo, an AI assistant for breast cancer screening, in the Canadian population.
The fellowships are funded by AstraZeneca Canada and Breast Cancer Canada's annual Precision Oncology Research grants.
