PACS and 3-D software developer TeraRecon has signed an agreement with Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore to collaborate on defining and deploying advances in 3-D imaging technology, according to the San Mateo, CA-based firm. Johns Hopkins will use TeraRecon systems to bring distributed 3-D imaging to clinicians across the enterprise, TeraRecon said.
In another deal, TeraRecon will install its Aquarius workstations and AquariusNet 3-D enterprise server at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, CA. Stanford's radiology department will use the 3-D server to bring 3-D imaging capabilities to clinicians who need to visualize and interact with 3-D imaging studies, TeraRecon said.
