GE introduces AutoBone

GE Medical Systems has released a clinical software application, AutoBone, to allow the visualization of vascular anatomy on computed tomographic angiography (CTA) images.

When using the GE Advantage workstation, the software provides automated bone removal for the abdomen and lower extremities in CTA imaging studies. The process reveals blood vessels would otherwise remain hidden in traditional imaging views, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor.
