Invivo of Orlando, FL, will discuss version 1.1 of its DynaCAD software, which offers computer-aided detection assessment of breast MRI studies.
Version 1.1 includes features like automated 2D/3D image registration for correction of patient motion; enhanced volume analysis, lesion composition statistics, and histograms for improved therapy monitoring; an autosearch capability for the most suspicious regions of interest; and interactive 3D image annotations.
The software also supports the use of the Mammotome breast biopsy device from Ethicon Endo-Surgery of Cincinnati, and has an option for use in interventional planning with 1.5-tesla breast array coils from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
Other recent enhancements include expanded and configurable archiving options for automatic creation of postprocessed image series and storage to PACS archives, export options in multiple file formats, and an integrated utility for creating CDs and DVDs with a built-in image viewer.
Also look for Invivo to talk up its recent alliance with Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA. Siemens will distribute DynaCAD with its Magnetom line of MRI scanners.
