New enhancements to its vascular, colon, and calcium scoring software are on tap for this Stony Brook, NY, company.
For its V3D-Vascular software, Viatronix will show an enhancement that provides automatic carotid artery segmentation. The application now finds the main carotid arteries and automatically prepares 3D volume-rendered MIP and x-ray cine images. The new features will be available in December 2005.
On its V3D-Colon and V3D-Explorer applications, Viatronix will demonstrate integrated CAD tools for virtual colonoscopy and CT lung analysis. Users are now able to interactively view colon CAD polyp identification marks or lung nodule identifiers using real-time volume rendering, resulting in a "concurrent read" approach for CAD. The new features will be available in December 2005.
Viatronix will also highlight upgrades to its entire V3D-System family of products that add workflow enhancements, improved visualization, greater PACS functionality, unified user interfaces across the entire product line, and expanded diagnostic tools.
