Advanced visualization software developer Ziosoft has appointed two new executives.
Chief development officer Masao Yamamura has added the role of president of Ziosoft Japan to his responsibilities. Yamamura joined the Redwood City, CA-based firm in 2007.
Ziosoft has also signed Laurie Hallwyler as senior director of corporate communications. Hallwyler has been serving as a senior communications consultant for the firm, and prior to that she was vice president of corporate communications for Eklin Medical Systems. She has also held similar positions at R2 Technology, Zonare Medical Systems, and Acuson.
