Diversifying its revenue channels helped advanced visualization firm Vital Images grow revenues in 2010.
Revenue last year increased to $59.7 million, compared with $58.2 million in 2009. The company also reported a net loss of $966,000 last year, compared with a net loss of $21.3 million in 2009, which included $18.1 million in noncash charges that year.
Fourth-quarter revenue climbed to $16.1 million, compared with $15.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2009. Net income for the current period reached $1.2 million, compared with a net loss of $630,000 in 2009's fourth quarter.
