TeraRecon announces executive appointments

Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon has announced the appointment of Tiecheng Zhao, PhD, as chief technology officer (CTO).

Zhao previously served as vice president of engineering and succeeds former CTO Dr. Motoaki Saito, PhD, the company's co-founder and current chairman.

Jeffrey Sorenson has been promoted to senior vice president. He previously served as vice president of sales of the company's Aquarius products in Canada and the U.S.
