Visage sells clinical research unit

Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging has completed the sale of its clinical research division, Amira, to Visualization Sciences Group.

The $14.9 million transaction closed on July 31. Visage now plans to focus on the needs of the global diagnostic imaging and radiology markets, according to the firm.
