Siemens to highlight new syngo.via version at RSNA

Siemens Healthcare plans to introduce version VA30 of its syngo.via 3D and advanced reading software at the upcoming RSNA meeting.

The latest version includes General Engine, a new package of automated and standardized applications. This includes anatomical range presets, for example, which identify individual regions of the body on images captured using CT and MRI, align the image projections accordingly, and select detailed views to facilitate case preparation, according to Siemens.

VA30 "understands" human anatomy and prepares the images for diagnostic reading. For example, syngo.via VA30 features an automatic rib labeling tool that identifies and labels the ribs in CT scans.
