Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems and German medical imaging software company Chimaera have received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Chimaera FusionSync.
The software is designed to improve handling and diagnosis of multimodality and follow-up medical data, Aycan said. It is available exclusively with the aycan OsiriX Pro workstation.
Chimaera FusionSync was launched in Europe last year with CE Mark certification.
