PACS firm Sectra has installed five visualization tables at the Antenor Orrego Private University (UPAO) in Peru.
The large, multitouch medical display allows interaction with real-size 3D images of virtual bodies, Sectra said. It is the first installation of Sectra's system in South America.
The visualization table enables students to study anatomical variations among many individuals without the need for dissection, according to the firm. Students will use the table for courses in anatomy, structure, and functions.
