EchoPixel debuts print support for True 3D at HIMSS

Advanced visualization firm EchoPixel has launched a new set of software tools to support printing with its True 3D Viewer package.

The company's True 3D Viewer software allows physicians to interact with medical images the way they would with physical objects, EchoPixel said. It converts DICOM datasets into life-sized virtual objects, allowing physicians to move, turn, and dissect virtual anatomy. The new set of software tools allows physicians to print models they've created with True 3D Viewer.

The company is highlighting its True 3D Viewer with print support at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, FL.
