Swedish nuclear medicine software developer Hermes Medical Solutions has appointed Mikael Strindlund as its new president and CEO.
Strindlund was most recently senior vice president and general manager of the CT division at Philips Healthcare. He also held positions as business unit leader at large corporations such as Siemens Healthineers and Getinge Maquet, and was CEO of smaller publicly listed MedTech companies.
Strindlund succeeds Sofia Bertling, who held a number of positions during her 11 years at Hermes Medical Solutions, including president and CEO since 2015. After aiding Strindlund in the transition to CEO, she will join the Hermes board of directors.
