Swedish nuclear medicine software developer Hermes Medical Solutions has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its Affinity viewing and analysis software for molecular imaging and nuclear medicine exams.
Affinity features fast loading of images, the firm's Deep Fusion visualization technology, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven workflows, according to the vendor. Its user interface was created by developers from the gaming industry, Hermes said.
Affinity had previously been cleared by Health Canada and received the CE Mark.
