Nuclear medicine software developer Hermes Medical Solutions has signed a collaboration with Isotopia Molecular Imaging to support clinical studies to demonstrate the positive effects of personalized dosimetry and modulated radiopharmaceutical therapy on patient outcomes.
The companies will work together to generate data that will assist in establishing dosimetry planning as an essential element of guidelines that are being developed for radiopharmaceutical therapy. Hermes will provide its expertise in quantitative and dosimetry software, while Isotopia will bring its radiopharmaceutical technology and experience in logistics to the partnership.
The companies said they plan to develop dosimetry tools for Isotopia's new pipeline of therapeutic isotopes such as terbium-161, which is in the last phase of development and could be used for radionuclide therapy.
