Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems has introduced a new software plugin, Liver Surface Nodularity (LSN), that detects and stages chronic liver disease.
Developed by Aycan's business partner Imaging Biometrics, the software allows radiologists to diagnose liver disease from routine abdominal CT scans, measure liver surface nodularity, generate a liver score, and predict future liver events without performing biopsies.
