Computer software and artificial intelligence firm RSIP Vision has introduced software that generates 3D reconstructions of coronary arteries from angiography exams.

Designed to aid in planning percutaneous coronary interventions, these 3D models can be used for measurements of arterial length and diameter at any point, quantitative coronary angiography, and virtual stent positioning and vessel modification for procedure planning, according to the firm.

The application can also aid in detecting stenosis and serve as the baseline for computerized measurement of fractional flow reserve, RSIP Vision said. The vendor-neutral software utilizes both deep-learning algorithms and computer-vision methods. It will be available for third-party C-arm manufacturers and medical device vendors.
