Image-guided radiosurgery developer Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, has sold its CyberKnife system to Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
The agreement marks the second CyberKnife installation at Sinai Hospital, with the first system installed in 2003. Like the first unit, the new system was acquired through Accuray's Placement Program, which helps hospitals acquire CyberKnife systems by providing financing, reimbursement, operational, technical, and upgrade-support services.
