Image-guided radiosurgery developer Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, claimed that spinal tumor treatments with its CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system have grown more than 75% since the introduction of the firm's Xsight spine tracking system last year.
The Xsight product is a noninvasive tracking system that enables clinicians to access and treat tumors in or near spinal structures without implanting radiographic markers or fiducials, the company said.
