Stereotaxis reports Q4 revenue growth

Image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis of St. Louis reported its fourth-quarter 2009 financial results (end-December 31), posting a 16% increase propelled by sales of its Niobe magnetic navigation system and its Odyssey product line.

Revenue for the quarter grew 16% to $14.1 million, compared with $12.1 million in the same quarter a year ago. Net loss decreased 11%, from $7.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2008 to $6.7 million for the fourth quarter of 2009.

For the full year of 2009, revenue grew 27% to $51.1 million, compared with $40.4 million in 2008. Net loss decreased 37%, from $43.9 million in 2008 to $27.5 million in 2009, Stereotaxis said.
