Higher sales of its Spy intraoperative imaging system contributed to strong revenue growth for surgical imaging developer Novadaq Technologies of Bonita Springs, FL, in its third quarter.
For the period (end-September 30), the firm had revenues of $7.6 million, up from $1.7 million in the same period a year ago. However, Novadaq had a net loss of $4.6 million, compared with a net loss of $3.9 million a year ago. The quarter included a noncash write-down of $4.8 million.
