GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has become the exclusive U.S. distributor and reseller for the IG4 navigation system from Veran Medical Technologies of St. Louis.
The deal brings together GE's Innova angiography systems with Veran's proprietary 4D electromagnetic navigation products and technology for enhanced targeting of lesions.
The multimodality Veran IG4 system is designed to deliver instruments to small targets in difficult-to-access regions of the human body to diagnose and treat disease in a minimally invasive fashion.
