Previously announced installation delays held back revenue growth for image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis in its fourth quarter.
For the period (end-December 31), the vendor had revenue of $14.5 million, up 2.8% from the $14.1 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2009. Stereotaxis had a fourth-quarter net loss of $2.5 million, compared with a net loss of $6.7 million in the same quarter last year.
For 2010, Stereotaxis had revenue of $54.1 million, up 5.7% from the $51.1 million turned in during 2009. The company had a 2010 net loss of $19.9 million, compared with a net loss of $27.5 million in 2009.
Looking ahead to 2011, Stereotaxis said it expects total revenue growth to be in the range of 20% to 30%.
