IMRIS promotes Miller to CEO

Image-guided therapy developer IMRIS has appointed Jay Miller, the company's current president and chief operating officer (COO), as CEO, effective August 1.

Chairman and CEO David Graves will continue as chair of the board of directors, according to the vendor. Miller joined IMRIS in September 2012 as president and COO after stints as CEO of Zonare Medical Systems and Vital Images.

He has also held senior positions with GE Healthcare after beginning his career at Siemens Healthcare.
