Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab announced that its Loop-X mobile imaging robot and Cirq robotic alignment module for spinal surgeries have been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The unit was developed with medical robotics solutions company medPhoton, of Salzburg, Austria.
