MRI and image-guided surgery technology startup Neuro42 has raised $6.5 million in a series A financing round.
The funding round was led by Zepp Health, with participation by ShangBay Capital and angel investors Krishna Bhupal and Philip Dolan, according to the vendor. Neuro42 said it would use the funds to support development of its portable MRI and robotics platform, which is designed to enable physicians to diagnose brain injury in acute settings and treat neurological diseases intraoperatively under live imaging.
