Konica gets clearance for dry imagers

Konica Medical Imaging has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for its DryPro model 751 and 752 dry laser imagers. The new imagers can achieve up to 14-bit grayscale for 16,384 different shades of gray, and can output 120 films per hour, according to the Wayne, NJ-based vendor. Konica plans to commercialize the two imagers at the end of summer.
