E-Z-EM has launched InnerviewGI, a workstation for virtual colonoscopy procedures. InnerviewGI can render 3-D images in seconds, allowing for multiple 3-D viewing options as well as synchronized 2-D and 3-D views of the colon, according to the Westbury, NY-based vendor. Powered by Vital Images' Vitrea 2 software, InnerviewGI is compatible with all CT and MR scanners using DICOM 3 protocols, according to E-Z-EM.
