GE Medical Systems has purchased German medical image management and reporting software developer ViewPoint Bildverarbeitung. The Munich-based firm's PIA product line includes processing and reporting structures for obstetrics, general imaging ultrasound, and endoscopy, according to GE of Waukesha, WI.
